Indigenous Technology Know-how (ITK)

  •  Storing Rice grain in earthen pits called KHANI from the month of march to may 

  •  Storing of the Green Gram for Seed and consumption purpose in OLIA/ PUDUKA made up of straw ropes 

  • Red chili is mioxed with green and Black Gram seed and stored in PUDUKA

  • Basak ( ADUATIDA BRCRICAY) leaves are mixed with the green gram and stored in PUDUKA

  • YAM is cut into pieces. The raw cow dung is coted over these pieces and dried under shed for 2-3 days. Then this pieces are put in soil (Mixed with FYM) for sprouting under the shadow.

  • Buffalo are allowed to swim in the fish pond which facilitates aeration in the pond.

  • The red soil is cotted on the gram seeds. These are dried under shed stored in earthen pot

  • The green Banana are kept (Storage) under ground for one month 

  • Banana is planted as indicator plant for scheduling irrigation in sugarcane.

  • Custard apple seed powder is used for controll of stored grain pests of pulses and cereal seeds.

  • Marigold plants are planted in brinjal field to check remolded attack

  • Neem leafs are mixed with pulse grains to prevent stored grain pest attack.
